Composition Tip : Royal Enfield camp at More plains
A still from my time-lapse video for Royal Enfield to demonstrate how the position of the bike guides the viewers gaze across the image.
In this composition the tent and the bike would compete to be the focal point of the image and i believe that the bike would win by a small margin. So once the viewer's attention falls on the bike, it would then follow the direction it which the bike is pointing to. Across to the left of the frame toward the tent and the mountains in the background.
Now if the bike was pointing in the opposite direction then the viewer's gaze might be led towards and out of the right edge of the frame, without giving it a chance to examine the tent and the snowy mountains in the distance.
