A Royal Enfield Classic 500 on the road to Lachulung La

This picture demonstrates the issues I had with positioning my bike during the Royal Enfield time-lapse shoot. Weighed down by the luggage, I had trouble putting the bike on the centre stand during the initial days.

The problem is compounded by the fact that I usually to park the bike at the edge of the road to avoid disturbing the traffic. With a steep slope next to the bike I would always worry about the bike falling down the slope when I tried to put it on the centre stand. So I missed a few good time-lapse shooting opportunities because of my failure to position the bike properly.

Just look at the picture above. It would have made a wonderful time-lapse clip if I had the bike standing upright and had it parked in a more side on diagonal direction.
